Dana Kinsey, Lancaster City Poet Laureate, is a spoken-word artist, actor, professor at Goldey-Beacom College, and teaching artist with Pennsylvania Creative Industries, DE Division of the Arts, and Brighter Tomorrow. She is also the founder and director of The Lancaster Living Poetry Museum, a stage show featuring performers embodying famous poets.

Dana’s poem “Paying My Respects” was chosen for Oprelle’s 2023 Poetry Masters Anthology. She’s served as a judge for Poetry Out Loud and Get Lit.

Dana’s writing is published in Prose Online, SWWIM, Wild Roof Journal, Porcupine Literary, Passengers, Red Ogre Review, In Parentheses, On the Seawall,McQueen’s Quinterly, Star 82 Review, Anti-Heroin Chic, Dipity Lit,ONE ART, SoFloPoJo, and more.

Dana’s play, WaterRise, was produced at the Gene Frankel Theatre in Greenwich Village. Her poem “Ida Cares” is featured on a sculpture in Ewell/Gantz Playground in Lancaster, PA.
